- Park the Defender on a flat, level surface and ensure the wheels are straight and the vehicle is stationary.
- Locate the existing factory mounting points behind the front and rear wheel arch liners — no drilling is required at any stage.
- Align each mud flap with its corresponding mounting position, ensuring the flap sits flush and level against the arch.
- Insert the supplied interior secure bolts through the mounting holes and tighten by hand before finishing with a suitable hand tool. Do not overtighten.
- Repeat for all four corners, then visually inspect each flap for alignment and clearance from the tyre sidewall.
- Take the vehicle for a short test drive and re-check all bolts are secure before regular use.
