- Thoroughly clean and degrease the roof mounting surface using an isopropyl alcohol wipe to ensure maximum 3M tape adhesion.
- Dry-fit the roof pod to confirm positioning before removing the 3M tape backing — check alignment against the roofline centreline.
- Peel the 3M tape backing and firmly press the pod into position, applying sustained pressure across the full mounting surface for 30–60 seconds.
- Route the wiring loom carefully through the roof seal or door frame — avoid sharp edges and secure with cable ties at regular intervals.
- Connect the wiring directly to the vehicle's fuse box. Identify an appropriate fused circuit (or add a new fused feed) rated for the LED load.
- Pair the wireless remote control receiver in line with the LED wiring connection, following the included wiring diagram.
- Test LED operation with the remote before final cable dressing. Confirm full illumination and wireless response at range.
- Dress all cables neatly and secure any loose wiring to prevent movement or chafing over time.
