Installation Notes
🔧 DIY Friendly — Approx. 20–30 Minutes · No Tools Required Beyond Kit Supplied
- Thoroughly clean each headlamp lens with an isopropyl alcohol wipe and allow to dry completely. Any residue or moisture will affect adhesion.
- Identify the correct piece for each side — the pre-cut shapes are mirror images of one another. Do not attempt to fit them interchangeably.
- Lightly mist the headlamp surface with a solution of water and a small drop of washing-up liquid. This allows repositioning during placement.
- Peel back a small portion of the film backing and align the leading edge with the inner edge of the headlamp housing.
- Gradually peel and lay the film across the lens, using the squeegee to press outward from the centre — working out any bubbles as you go.
- Once fully applied, use the squeegee firmly across the entire surface to expel any remaining moisture and ensure full adhesion at the edges.
- Allow 24–48 hours for the adhesive to cure fully before washing the vehicle or driving in heavy rain.
⚠ Important: Do not apply in direct sunlight or temperatures below 10°C — the adhesive requires a moderate ambient temperature to bond correctly. If any lift occurs at the edges within the first 48 hours, re-press firmly with a clean cloth before the adhesive fully sets.
