- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the engine off and fully cooled. Open the bonnet for easier access to the upper grille mounting points.
- Using a trim removal tool, carefully release the plastic clips securing the existing front middle grille to the bumper surround. Work from one end to the other to avoid cracking the surrounding trim.
- Remove any Torx screws (typically T20) securing the grille at the top or side mounting brackets. Keep all fixings in a safe container — you may need them for reassembly.
- Gently pull the original grille forward and away from the bumper aperture. Disconnect any wiring loom connectors if applicable to your trim level (e.g. adaptive cruise sensor surround).
- Align the new ABS gloss black grille into the aperture and press firmly into position, engaging each clip in sequence from centre outward. Refit any Torx screws to secure the upper edge.
- Step back and verify the grille sits flush and level across the full width. Close the bonnet and inspect the fitment from the front to confirm alignment before driving.
