- Ensure the vehicle is parked in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight or extreme cold to allow the adhesive to bond properly.
- Thoroughly clean the leading edge of the bonnet using the included prep wipe, removing all dirt, wax, polish residue, and moisture. Allow to dry completely.
- Dry-fit the deflector shield along the bonnet edge without removing the adhesive backing. Check alignment and confirm it sits flush and level across the full width.
- Carefully peel back the adhesive liner on the deflector and, starting from one end, press firmly along the bonnet edge, working progressively to avoid air pockets or misalignment.
- Apply firm, even pressure along the full length of the deflector for 60 seconds to ensure full adhesive contact across the bonding surface.
- Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing the bonnet to prolonged moisture for at least 24–48 hours to allow the adhesive to cure fully and reach maximum bond strength.
⚠ Important: Do not attempt installation on a wet, cold, or freshly waxed bonnet surface. Adhesive performance is significantly reduced below 10°C.
