Installation Notes

- Park the Defender on a level surface and ensure all four wheel arches are clean and free of debris before beginning.
- Identify and remove any existing lower arch liner fixings or OEM mud flap studs that may be present from the factory using a trim removal tool or flat-head screwdriver.
- Offer up the front mud flaps to the lower front arch on each side, aligning the mounting holes with the existing fixing points on the body or liner.
- Secure each front mud flap using the supplied hardware, tightening fixings finger-tight first before fully torquing to ensure correct alignment.
- Repeat the process for the rear mud flaps on both sides, confirming even spacing from the tyre and flush contact with the body panel above.
- Step back and visually inspect all four flaps for alignment and consistent gap. Make any minor positional adjustments before fully tightening.
⚠ Please Note: Fitting points may vary slightly between Defender 90, 110, and 130 body lengths. Always dry-fit and confirm alignment before final tightening. If you are unsure at any stage, we recommend installation by a qualified automotive technician. Do not overtighten fixings into plastic liners.
