Installation Notes

Disconnect negative battery terminal and allow cooling (engine off minimum 30 minutes).

Remove engine cover and unbolt camshaft actuator retaining bolts (M6 or M8 depending on model).

Withdraw old intake actuator and discard sealing rings. Mark oil lines for reinstallation.

Clean mounting surface with cloth and light degreaser. Inspect for debris or corrosion.

Install new intake actuator with fresh O-rings supplied. Tighten to 8–12 Nm.

Repeat steps 3–5 for exhaust actuator (36.5mm assembly). Verify line routing before final torque.

Reconnect battery, start engine, and monitor for warning lights for 10 minutes (limp-mode check).

Perform dealer-level diagnostic scan to clear any residual fault codes and confirm VVT system calibration.
