Installation Guide
Radiator Hose Replacement – Cooling System Service

Preparation: Allow engine to cool completely. Disconnect negative battery terminal. Position drain pan under radiator.

Drain Coolant: Open radiator drain plug (lower right side). Allow full drainage into container. Close drain plug when empty.

Remove Old Hoses: Unbolt hose clamps at both ends using socket wrench or adjustable wrench. Gently twist and pull hoses free. Note clamp positions.

Clean Connection Points: Wipe radiator, water pump inlet, and thermostat housing with lint-free cloth. Remove old rubber debris.

Install New Hoses: Slip new hoses onto ports. Ensure full seating (hose should sit 1/4" from port edge). Hand-tighten clamps first.

Secure Clamps: Torque hose clamps to 15–20 N·m (11–15 lb-ft). Do not over-tighten or you may crack ports.

Refill Coolant: Pour recommended coolant (check owner's manual for type) until radiator is full. Start engine and allow air to bleed naturally.

Final Check: Run engine for 10 minutes at idle. Check for leaks around all hose connections. Top up coolant if needed.
Safety Note: Do not open radiator cap or remove hoses while engine is hot. Pressurized coolant can cause severe burns. Always work on a cold engine.
