- Begin with the vehicle at ambient temperature. Avoid installation in direct sunlight or cold environments below 10°C, as this affects adhesive performance.
- Thoroughly clean the rear air vent surround panel using an IPA (isopropyl alcohol) wipe. Remove all dust, grease, and residue. Allow to dry fully — typically 2–3 minutes.
- Dry-fit each of the three carbon fibre covers against their respective vent positions to confirm alignment and seating before committing adhesive.
- Peel the backing from the pre-applied adhesive tape on the first piece. Align carefully with the vent panel surround and press firmly, holding for 30–60 seconds to seat the bond.
- Repeat for the remaining two pieces, working left to right or centre outward for the cleanest visual alignment.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the full surface of each piece for a final 60 seconds. Avoid disturbing the covers for at least 2 hours to allow the adhesive to cure fully.
⚠ Important: Do not use steam cleaners, abrasive cloths, or solvent-based cleaning products directly on the carbon fibre surface. A microfibre cloth with a mild interior detailer is all that's needed to maintain the finish.
