- Remove the 3M tape backing and carefully press the pod firmly onto the roof, applying steady even pressure along the full length for 60 seconds.
- Route the wiring loom along the vehicle's headliner trim panels towards the fuse box — remove trim clips carefully to avoid damage and use conduit where possible.
- Connect the wiring to an appropriate fused circuit in the engine bay fuse box — refer to your Defender L663 wiring diagram for a suitable ignition-switched or always-on circuit.
- Pair the wireless remote receiver module to the remote handset as per the included instructions and test all LED functions before refitting trim panels.
- Refit all interior trim clips and panels, ensuring wiring is fully concealed and routed away from any moving or heat-generating components.
