Installation Notes
Difficulty: Moderate · Estimated Time: 30–60 Minutes · Tools Required: Trim removal tool, plastic clips (if needed)
- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface with the engine off and fully cooled down before beginning.
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully prise the existing OEM side vent away from the bodywork, working around the perimeter to release each retaining clip without damaging the surrounding paintwork.
- Disconnect any retaining clips or fixings holding the original vent in place and set aside for reference. Note the clip positions as the new vent uses the same mounting points.
- Offer up the new red and black side vent to the aperture, aligning it carefully with the mounting points before applying firm, even pressure to click each clip into place.
- Repeat the process on the opposite side, then step back and inspect both vents for flush fitment and consistent panel gaps before considering the job complete.
