Prepare the surface: Park on a level, flat surface. Clean both left and right side panels thoroughly with the included alcohol pad, removing all dust, wax, grease, and road film. Dry completely with a clean cloth—adhesive bond strength depends on a pristine surface.

Test fit without adhesive: Do not peel the 3M tape liner yet. Position the left skirt against the body, aligning it forward/backward and up/down to match the J7's natural body line and curve. Ensure symmetrical gaps on both sides. Mark reference points lightly with removable tape if needed.

Repeat test fit on right side: Mirror the left alignment to the right panel. Confirm both skirts sit at identical height and depth, with no warping or misalignment.

Apply the left skirt: Slowly peel the 3M adhesive liner from the back of the left skirt. Press firmly along the entire length for 3–5 minutes, working from top to bottom to eliminate air pockets. Apply consistent pressure; do not rush.

Apply the right skirt: Repeat step 4 on the right side, mirroring pressure distribution and cure time.

Cure period (24 hours): Keep the vehicle parked in a dry, room-temperature environment. Do not wash, expose to rain, or drive aggressively for 24 hours. This allows the adhesive to fully set.

Final inspection: After 24 hours, check both skirts for secure seating. There should be no gaps, wobble, or movement. The fit should feel seamless and permanent.
⚠ Important: Do not attempt installation in temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C. Clean the body panel thoroughly—contaminated surfaces will cause premature adhesive failure. If the skirt does not adhere within 5 minutes of pressing, stop, peel back carefully, re-clean both surfaces, and try again with a fresh section of adhesive tape.
