Installation

Prepare the surface. Clean the steering wheel trim area thoroughly with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol. Allow to dry completely for at least 5 minutes.

Position the trim. Carefully align the silver ABS trim against the steering wheel. Check alignment from multiple angles before committing adhesive.

Apply adhesive tape. Remove the backing from the supplied automotive adhesive tape. Press firmly along the entire length of the trim, working from centre outward to eliminate air bubbles.

Set and cure. Apply moderate pressure for 30 seconds. Allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours before using the steering wheel. Avoid washing or touching the trim during this period.

Final inspection. Once cured, verify that the trim is fully bonded with no gaps, lifting, or movement when gently flexed.
⚠ Important: Do not install this trim on a warm steering wheel. Allow your vehicle interior to cool to room temperature first. The adhesive bonds best on cool, clean surfaces and will weaken if applied in direct sunlight or excessive heat.
