Overview
Built for the serious Defender owner, this snorkel kit transforms how your TD5 or TD4 breathes during off-road work, water crossings, and high-dust environments. Whether you're tackling desert tracks or crossing shallow fords, a proper snorkel intake positions your engine's air source higher and further from ground-level contamination—the factory air path simply cannot compete.
This system draws clean, cooler air from roof height, which also improves throttle response and reduces engine strain in hot climates. The sealed intake design prevents water ingestion during water crossings and eliminates the dust clouds kicked up by your own wheels. For any Defender used beyond tarmac, it's essential equipment.
Manufactured from durable LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) and engineered specifically for the TD5 turbodiesel and TD4.2-litre engines, installation is straightforward and requires no engine modifications. CE certified and backed by Victorious' 30-day guarantee.

Installation
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 2–3 hours
- Remove interior trim panels and roof lining on the right side (A-pillar and headlining)
- Drill or cut access hole through roof at mounting point (template provided)
- Thread snorkel tube through cabin, positioning intake head at roof edge
- Secure mounting brackets to roof structure using stainless hardware
- Connect snorkel tube to factory air intake box with provided clamps
- Seal all entry points with weatherproof sealant (not included)
- Reinstate trim panels and test for air leaks
Important: Ensure all cable runs (electrics, roof lining) are clear before roof drilling. We recommend professional installation if you're unfamiliar with interior trim work. This is a right-side fitment only—left-side placement will interfere with driver visibility and window operation.
