Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 45–90 minutes

Disconnect the battery negative terminal and wait 5 minutes for system power-down.

Locate the height sensor on the suspension arm (front lower control arm or rear axle bracket, depending on which sensor you're replacing).

Disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor connector and unclip any retained cables.

Remove the single bolt securing the sensor bracket to the suspension or chassis.

Install the new sensor in the same orientation, align the mounting bracket, and tighten the bolt to factory spec (approx. 25 Nm).

Reconnect the wiring harness and verify the connector clicks fully into place.

Reconnect the battery, start the engine, and allow the air suspension system to cycle (listen for pump activity). Clear any fault codes using a Land Rover diagnostic tool or visit a dealer.

Test drive and confirm ride height equalizes and warning lights clear.
Warning: Incorrect sensor orientation or incomplete connector seating will cause air suspension faults. If warning lights persist after installation, disconnect and reconnect the sensor harness, ensuring a firm click. If faults continue, the suspension control module may require a software reset—consult a Land Rover specialist or dealer.
