Installation Notes
🛠 DIY Fit · Difficulty: Easy · Estimated Time: 20–30 Minutes
- Ensure the rear bumper and existing exhaust tip surrounds are clean, dry and free from grease, wax or polish — use an isopropyl alcohol wipe for best adhesion.
- Dry-fit each cover in position before applying adhesive to confirm alignment and check the cover sits flush and level within the bumper recess.
- Using a lighter or heat gun, gently warm the adhesive tape on the reverse of each cover for 5–10 seconds — this activates the bond and significantly improves adhesion strength.
- Carefully press each cover firmly into position, applying steady pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to ensure full contact with the mounting surface.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before driving or exposing the vehicle to rain. Avoid pressure washing the area for 48 hours after fitting.
⚠ Important: Do not apply covers to a warm or recently used exhaust. Allow the vehicle to cool completely before fitting. Always clean the bonding surface thoroughly — contamination is the primary cause of adhesive failure. If ambient temperature is below 10°C, warm both the cover and the bumper surface gently before application.
