Installation Notes
Difficulty: Very Easy · Estimated Time: 5–10 minutes · Tools Required: None
- Clean the headrest adjustment button surface thoroughly using an isopropyl alcohol wipe and allow to dry completely — this ensures maximum adhesive bond.
- Identify the correct trim piece for each button position (refer to any included guide or test-fit without removing the adhesive backing first).
- Peel back the 3M adhesive protective layer from the rear of the trim piece.
- Align the trim carefully over the headrest button and press firmly into position for 20–30 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Allow 24 hours before applying any significant pressure or cleaning around the fitted area to ensure full cure.
⚠ Note: Do not install on damp, greasy, or cold surfaces. In cooler climates, allow the trim and adhesive to reach room temperature before fitting. Attempting to reposition after initial adhesion may reduce bond strength.
