Installation Notes
Difficulty: Beginner–Intermediate · Estimated Time: 30–60 minutes
- Ensure the vehicle ignition is fully off and allow the interior to cool if the climate system has recently been running.
- Carefully remove the existing climate control panel surround using a trim removal tool — work slowly around the edges to avoid marking the dashboard.
- Disconnect the factory wiring harness connectors from the rear of the original climate control unit.
- Connect the corresponding harness connectors to the new IPS touch screen panel — connectors are keyed and will only seat correctly when aligned.
- Test all climate functions (fan speed, temperature, front/rear AC, recirculation) before securing the panel into its housing.
- Press the panel firmly into the dashboard aperture until all clips engage and the surround sits flush.
- Cycle the ignition on and perform a final check of all touch and physical button functions.
