Installation Notes
⏱ Difficulty: Easy · Estimated Time: 20–30 minutes · Tools Required: None
- Thoroughly clean your existing mirror housing with an isopropyl alcohol wipe and allow to dry completely. Remove any wax, polish, or contaminants from the surface.
- Test-fit each carbon cover over the mirror housing before applying adhesive, confirming alignment and coverage across all edges.
- Apply the provided adhesive tape strips to the inner face of each cover, following the contours of the housing.
- Starting from one edge, press the cover firmly onto the mirror housing, working gradually toward the opposite side to avoid air pockets or misalignment.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to ensure full adhesive contact. Allow a minimum of 1 hour before exposing to rain or a car wash.
⚠ Note: Surface temperature affects adhesive performance. For best results, install in dry conditions above 10°C (50°F). Avoid installation in direct sunlight on very hot days, as this can cause premature adhesive curing before the cover is fully positioned.
