- Thoroughly wash and dry all four door handle areas to remove road grime, wax residue, and grease. The cleaner the surface, the stronger the bond.
- Use the included alcohol prep wipe to degrease each handle recess. Allow to dry completely for at least 60 seconds before proceeding.
- Test-fit each cover dry (without removing the adhesive backing) to confirm orientation and alignment before committing to placement.
- Peel back the adhesive liner and carefully position the cover over the door handle, starting from one end to avoid trapped air bubbles. Press firmly into place along the full perimeter.
- Apply firm thumb pressure to all edges and contoured sections for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond fully.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 12–24 hours in dry conditions before washing the vehicle or exposing it to heavy moisture.
⚠ Important: Do not install in temperatures below 10°C (50°F) — cold conditions significantly reduce adhesive activation and initial bond strength. Avoid installation in direct sunlight on hot bodywork, as this can cause the adhesive to cure prematurely before full contact is achieved.
