- Thoroughly clean the taillight surround area with an isopropyl alcohol wipe and allow to dry completely — this ensures maximum adhesive bonding.
- Dry-fit the surround cover against the taillight housing to confirm alignment and positioning before committing.
- Peel back the adhesive backing tape carefully, exposing the bonding surface.
- Align the surround cover precisely with the taillight housing edges and press firmly into position, working from the centre outward.
- Apply steady, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Allow a minimum of 2–4 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before exposing the vehicle to water or high-pressure washing.
⚠ Important: Do not install in temperatures below 10°C / 50°F as this may significantly reduce adhesive effectiveness. Avoid installation in direct sunlight or on a hot body panel. Never use harsh chemical cleaners on the surround once fitted — a damp microfibre cloth is sufficient for maintenance.
