Installation
Difficulty: Beginner | Time: 5 Minutes
- Open fuel filler door and inspect the fuel cap area for dust, dirt, or residue.
- Use a clean, dry cloth to thoroughly wipe down the fuel cap surround. Allow to air-dry completely.
- Carefully peel back the adhesive backing on the cover, starting from one corner.
- Align the cover over the fuel tank cap area, ensuring even spacing on all sides.
- Press firmly and evenly across the entire surface, working out any trapped air bubbles.
- Allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours before opening the fuel filler door again.
Surface preparation is critical. Any residual dirt, wax, or sealant will prevent proper adhesion. Take your time with cleaning—it takes 30 seconds and ensures a lifetime of secure fitment.
