Installation Notes
🔧 Difficulty: Intermediate · Estimated Time: 60–90 Minutes · Tools Required: Trim removal kit, torx set
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully release the inner door panel on the first door to gain access to the handle mounting points.
- Disconnect any wiring connectors attached to the factory door handle (keyless entry sensors, ambient lighting where fitted).
- Remove the OEM handle retaining bolts or clips using the appropriate torx bit — typically T20 or T25 depending on model year.
- Slide the factory handle assembly clear of the door skin and set aside. Take note of the sealing arrangement around the aperture.
- Fit the carbon fibre replacement cover into the same mounting position, ensuring the weave orientation is aligned consistently across all four doors.
- Reconnect any wiring harnesses, refit retaining hardware, and press the inner door panel firmly back into place until all clips are fully seated.
- Repeat for all four doors. Inspect each fitted cover for alignment and panel gap consistency before final sign-off.
