Installation Notes

- Ensure the vehicle is stationary, engine off, and the rotary selector is in the raised (Park) position.
- Grip the existing factory gear knob firmly and rotate anti-clockwise to release it from the selector housing — it will unscrew cleanly without tools.
- Disconnect any wiring harness or illumination connector from the underside of the OEM unit if present, and set the factory knob aside safely.
- Align the Crystal Gear Knob with the selector shaft, connecting any applicable plug connector before seating the unit.
- Press and rotate clockwise until the knob is fully secured and flush with the console surround. No force should be required if correctly aligned.
- Start the vehicle and cycle through gear positions to confirm full, unrestricted function. Inspect fitment visually from all angles.
