Installation

Locate the inlet connector on the lower-rear of the oil cooler matrix (beneath turbocharger).

Disconnect hoses by carefully releasing spring clamps or bolt fittings. Prepare a catch pan for residual coolant.

Remove the failed connector using a 13mm wrench (if bolt-mounted) or gentle prying if press-fit.

Inspect the mating surfaces on the oil cooler outlet and inlet hoses. Clean with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol.

Install the new connector, ensuring the inlet bore faces the oil cooler. Align hose ports horizontally.

Torque bolts to 18–22 Nm (13–16 ft-lbs) if applicable. Do not over-torque; aluminum threads strip easily.

Reconnect hoses and secure clamps. Ensure no kinks or crushing in the rubber lines.

Refill the cooling system with OEM-spec coolant (50/50 antifreeze). Top up to the cold fill line.
