Installation

- Power off the vehicle and allow the interior to reach room temperature. Cold adhesive bonds poorly.
- Remove the gear cover from packaging. Inspect the fit against your stock shift surround—no trimming required.
- Using a microfiber cloth and mild soap solution, clean the OEM surround thoroughly. Remove all dust, fingerprints, and residue. Dry completely.
- If adhesive is not pre-applied, apply a thin, even bead around the rear perimeter of the cover. Avoid excess adhesive at edges.
- Carefully position the cover, starting from the top center. Press firmly across the entire surface for 30 seconds.
- Allow 24 hours of cure time before using the gear shift. Do not expose to moisture during this period.
Important: Surface preparation is critical. Contamination will compromise adhesion and result in peeling. If your stock surround is textured or heavily worn, light abrasion with 400-grit sandpaper will improve bonding.
