Installation Guide

Disconnect the negative battery terminal and allow the engine to cool completely.

Remove the valve cover assembly on the affected cylinder head (driver side for V8 engines).

Remove rocker arms and pushrods (or camshaft carrier on some models). Label each component for reassembly order.

Extract old valve stem seals using a seal puller tool or carefully prying with a small pick. Do not score the valve stem.

Clean the valve stem deeply with a lint-free cloth and light solvent. Ensure no debris remains in the seal cavity.

Install new seals from this kit, working from exhaust valves first. Slide each seal down the stem until fully seated on the lower spring seat.

Reassemble pushrods and rocker arms in reverse order. Torque valve cover bolts to 8–10 Nm in a cross pattern.

Reconnect the battery, start the engine, and observe for any smoke or leaks during the first 2–3 minute warm-up cycle.
