- Ensure the steering wheel surface is clean and free from dust, oil, or residue. A wipe with isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth is recommended for best adhesion.
- Allow the steering wheel surface to return to room temperature if the vehicle has been parked in cold conditions — adhesive bonds more effectively above 15°C.
- Carefully peel the protective backing from the adhesive strip on the trim cover, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
- Align the trim strip against the target section of the steering wheel, confirming correct positioning before making contact.
- Press firmly and evenly along the full length of the strip for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Allow a minimum of 1 hour before driving to ensure the adhesive has fully cured and the trim is securely seated.
Note: Do not apply in direct sunlight or in temperatures below 10°C as this may compromise the adhesive bond. If repositioning is needed, do so within the first 10 seconds of contact before the adhesive sets.
