Installation

Prepare the surface. Clean the taillight area thoroughly with soap and water. Dry completely with a clean cloth or compressed air. Remove any residue, wax, or protective film.

Test fit first. Position the carbon fibre panel over the taillight without removing the backing. Ensure alignment and centering. Adjust if needed before committing adhesive.

Apply the panel. Carefully peel back a small corner of the adhesive backing. Press the panel into position, then gradually remove the rest of the backing while pressing firmly.

Press firmly for 2+ minutes. Apply sustained pressure across the entire panel, especially along the edges. Use a squeegee or plastic card if available to eliminate air pockets.

Allow full cure before exposure. Do not wash, touch, or expose to water for a minimum of 72 hours. If weather is cold, gently apply heat from a hair dryer to aid adhesive flow.

Final inspection. After 72 hours, inspect the edges and seams. The panel should sit flush and show no lifting or gaps.
⚠ Important: The adhesive requires 72 hours to fully set in normal conditions (15–25°C). Exposure to water, humidity, or cold temperatures during this period may compromise bonding. If installation occurs in wet or cold weather, extend cure time to 120 hours and use gentle heat to accelerate resin flow.
