Installation
⏱️ Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45–60 minutes
- Park on level ground and ensure roof is clean and dry.
- Position ladder assembly against driver-side roof panel; align mounting brackets with marked positions (template provided).
- Drill pilot holes through roof panel into reinforcement beam using 6mm drill bit—do not drill through both sheets.
- Insert stainless steel bolts with washers and nylon-lock nuts; hand-tighten first.
- Torque all bolts to 15–18 Nm in a cross pattern (front-left, rear-right, front-right, rear-left).
- Check ladder stability by applying firm downward pressure; no flex or movement should occur.
- Seal bolt heads with silicone sealant to prevent water ingress; allow 24 hours to cure before roof loading.
- Test each rung for grip and stability before use.
⚠️ Important: Do not exceed 150kg static load. Inspect bolts monthly for looseness, especially after off-road driving. Always use both hands and feet when climbing; ladder is for roof access only, not for suspension from side panels.
