Installation
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45–60 minutes
- Open your trunk and locate the OEM light housing in the upper trim panel.
- Carefully disconnect the existing light connector by releasing the safety clip.
- Remove the three Phillips fasteners securing the housing, then withdraw the old unit.
- Position the new LED light unit into the mounting bracket and align with the opening.
- Connect the pre-fitted wiring harness to your vehicle's electrical connector—green wire to positive, black to negative.
- Secure the unit with provided fasteners and ensure the lens sits flush with the trim.
- Test illumination before closing the trunk—press the trunk release button to confirm activation.
- Reinstall any trim panels or covers and perform a final visual inspection.
Important: Disconnect your vehicle's negative battery terminal before beginning any electrical work. If you're uncomfortable with automotive wiring, seek assistance from a qualified technician. Improper installation may void your vehicle's warranty.
