- Thoroughly clean the existing mirror housings with an isopropyl alcohol wipe to remove all wax, grease, and road film. Allow to dry fully before proceeding.
- Dry-fit both carbon fibre covers against the mirror housings to confirm alignment and check for any fitment anomalies before committing to the bond.
- Peel the backing from the pre-applied adhesive tape on the reverse of each cover, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
- Align the cover carefully at the top edge of the mirror housing and press firmly into position, working downward to avoid trapping air bubbles beneath the surface.
- Apply firm, sustained pressure across the entire cover surface for approximately 60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Repeat for the second mirror cover. Allow a minimum of 2 hours cure time before driving — 24 hours is recommended in cold or damp conditions.
⚠ Important: Do not wash the vehicle or expose the covers to high-pressure water for at least 24 hours after fitting. Surface temperature should be above 10°C during installation for optimal adhesive performance.
