- Ensure the interior of your vehicle is at room temperature — avoid installation in cold or damp conditions, as this can affect adhesive performance.
- Clean the gear shifter surround thoroughly using a lint-free microfibre cloth. Remove any dust, grease, or residue from previous products. Allow the surface to dry completely.
- Dry-fit the carbon fibre cover over the gear shifter surround before committing, to confirm correct alignment and positioning.
- Peel back the protective film on the adhesive layer carefully, taking care not to contaminate the adhesive surface.
- Align the cover precisely over the gear shifter surround, working from one end to the other to avoid air bubbles or misalignment.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to ensure a strong bond between the cover and the original trim.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 1 hour before normal use of the gear selector.
⚠ Note: Do not attempt installation on a wet, oily, or recently polished surface. Avoid using chemical cleaners directly on the carbon fibre finish, as harsh solvents may dull the pattern over time. A damp microfibre cloth is sufficient for routine cleaning.
