- Ensure the vehicle interior is at room temperature. Cold surfaces can reduce adhesive performance — avoid installation in direct sunlight or a cold garage.
- Use the included microfibre cloth to thoroughly clean the existing vent surround area. Remove any dust, fingerprints, or dashboard conditioner residue for a secure bond.
- Dry-fit the carbon style surround before committing — align the panel carefully to confirm fit, vent aperture positioning, and edge clearances.
- Peel back the adhesive liner gradually. Begin at one corner and work across, pressing firmly from the centre outward to avoid air pockets.
- Apply sustained hand pressure across the full panel for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond. Do not operate the ventilation system on full power for at least two hours after installation.
- Stand back and inspect from multiple angles in good light to confirm alignment and surface adhesion. Minor repositioning is possible within the first 60 seconds of application.
Note: This product is designed for interior use only. Avoid applying harsh chemical cleaners or solvent-based dashboard sprays directly to the carbon laminate surface. A damp microfibre cloth is sufficient for routine cleaning.
