Important: This repair kit is engineered exclusively for petrol (gasoline) engines. Diesel cooling systems use different pipe tolerances and materials. Verify your engine type before ordering.
Installation Guide
DIY Difficulty: Moderate | Time: 1.5–2.5 hours

Prepare the vehicle: Engine off, fully cooled. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Raise the vehicle safely on a jack and secure with axle stands.

Drain coolant system: Locate the coolant drain plug (underside of radiator). Place a pan beneath and drain fully. Keep coolant in a labeled container for disposal or reuse.

Remove hoses and clamps: Unbolt the intake manifold cover and coolant reservoir. Disconnect all hoses feeding the water pump pipe assembly—note their position or photograph for reassembly.

Remove mounting bolts: The water pump pipe assembly is secured to the engine block with 2–3 bolts. Remove these carefully and set them aside (reuse them).

Extract old assembly: Gently pull the old pipe away from the engine. Take care not to damage gasket surfaces on the block.

Install new assembly: Position the new repair kit onto the engine block. Align bolt holes and insert the original bolts. Torque to 20–25 Nm (15–18 ft-lbs) in a cross pattern.

Reconnect hoses: Reattach all coolant hoses to their correct ports. Secure with hose clamps. Double-check all connections are hand-tight.

Refill coolant: Fill the radiator and reservoir with fresh coolant (50/50 antifreeze mix). Replace the reservoir cap and run the engine at idle for 5 minutes. Check for leaks.

Bleed air: Open the bleed screw on the thermostat housing (if equipped) and allow air to escape while coolant flows. Close once coolant runs clear.

Final check: Monitor temperature gauge for 10 minutes at idle. Coolant should read 85–95°C. No leaks. No steam. Reconnect battery and clear any fault codes with a diagnostic tool.
⚠ Critical: Never work on a hot engine. Coolant reaches 120°C and releases under pressure—severe burns risk. Allow at least 2 hours cool-down. Dispose of old coolant responsibly at a recycling facility.
