- Begin with a clean, dry interior. Use an IPA-based panel wipe or isopropyl alcohol cloth to thoroughly degrease the speaker surround area on each door card — this is the single most important step for adhesion longevity.
- Allow the cleaned surfaces to dry fully for at least 5 minutes before proceeding. Do not rush this step, particularly in cold or humid conditions.
- Dry-fit each cover piece against its corresponding speaker surround before removing the adhesive backing. Confirm alignment and orientation without committing.
- Peel the protective film from the pre-applied double-sided adhesive tape on the rear of the cover piece.
- Position the cover carefully against the speaker surround — starting from one edge and working across to avoid air pockets or misalignment.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface of the cover for 30–60 seconds per piece to ensure full adhesive contact.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure fully before subjecting the covers to any stress or cleaning.
⚠ Important: Do not attempt installation in temperatures below 10°C (50°F), as adhesive performance is significantly reduced in cold conditions. If fitting in winter, allow the vehicle to warm up to cabin temperature before beginning. Avoid contact with cleaning products containing silicone or wax on the bonded area for at least 48 hours post-installation.
