- Thoroughly clean the headlamp lens surface with an isopropyl alcohol solution and allow to dry completely — any dust or grease will affect adhesion.
- Work in a warm, dust-free environment. A garage or sheltered area at 15–25°C is ideal. Warmer conditions improve film flexibility and conformity.
- Lightly mist the headlamp surface with a water and soap solution (wet application method) to allow repositioning during placement.
- Carefully peel the backing from the pre-cut TPU film, keeping the adhesive side away from surfaces. Align the film to the headlamp contour before committing.
- Apply the film from the centre outward using the included squeegee tool, working any air bubbles towards the edges progressively.
- Use a heat gun or hairdryer on a low setting to gently warm the film around curves and edges — this improves adhesion and conformity to complex shapes.
- Allow 24–48 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before washing the vehicle or exposing the film to heavy rain.
⚠ Note: Ensure the headlamp surface is completely free of wax, polish or ceramic coating residue before application. Residual coatings will significantly reduce adhesive bond strength and may cause lifting at the edges. If your lenses have been previously coated, lightly decontaminate with a clay bar or isopropyl wipe before fitting.
