Prepare the surface. Clean the steering wheel decorative panel area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or a microfibre cloth. Remove all dust, fingerprints, and residue. Let dry completely.

Test fit (optional). Position the carbon fibre cover without removing adhesive backing to confirm alignment and coverage.

Remove adhesive backing. Carefully peel the 3M backing from the rear of the carbon fibre panel, starting at one corner.

Apply with pressure. Press the cover onto the steering wheel panel firmly, working from the centre outward to eliminate air pockets. Hold for 10–15 seconds.

Cure time. Do not wash your vehicle or subject the steering wheel to heavy vibration for 48 hours. This allows the adhesive to fully bond.

Inspect edges. After 48 hours, check that all edges are fully adhered. If lifting occurs at corners, apply gentle pressure again.
⚠ Important: Do not wash or pressure-clean the steering wheel area for 48 hours after installation. Premature moisture exposure can prevent proper adhesive cure and reduce bond strength.
