Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 90–120 minutes
- Safely raise and support the vehicle on jack stands. Remove the engine undertrays and belly pan for access.
- Support the engine weight with a trolley jack and wooden block under the sump.
- Unbolt the upper mount from the engine bay. Support the tower bracket as it's unbolted. Remove the old mount assembly.
- Install the new upper mount (LR000597), ensuring all fasteners are torqued to OE spec (typically 40–60 Nm). Do not overtighten.
- Lower the engine slightly and carefully remove the rear lower mount fasteners. The bushing may be seized; apply penetrating oil if needed.
- Install the new rear lower mount (LR039527). Align the bracket precisely before final tightening.
- Torque all bolts to specification. Start the engine and check for excessive vibration or noise before removing jack stands.
⚠ Important: Do not run the engine at high RPM immediately after installation. Allow elastomer to settle for the first 50 km of gentle driving. Misaligned mounts or loose fasteners can cause severe vibration and component damage.
