- Ensure your Mercedes W222 S-Class is fitted with the NTG 5.0 COMAND system (model years 2013–2020). Check your infotainment version in the COMAND settings menu if unsure.
- Locate the USB and AUX ports in your vehicle's centre console or glovebox area — the adapter connects via these existing ports.
- Plug the interface adapter into the factory USB and AUX inputs as directed in the included installation manual.
- Power on your vehicle and allow the COMAND system to boot fully. The adapter interface will appear on the factory screen.
- On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and pair with the adapter. For wireless CarPlay, ensure Wi-Fi is also enabled on your iPhone.
- Select CarPlay or Android Auto from the on-screen menu. The interface will launch on your factory display within seconds.
- For subsequent journeys, your phone will reconnect automatically — no manual pairing needed.
⚠ Compatibility Note: This adapter is designed exclusively for Mercedes NTG 5.0 systems. It is not compatible with the newer MBUX infotainment platform found in post-2020 S-Class models.
