Installation Notes

- Park your Defender on a level surface with the engine off. Ensure the steering wheel is in its default centre position.
- Use the included prep wipe to thoroughly clean the area of the steering wheel where the trim will be applied. Allow to dry completely — at least 2 minutes.
- Dry-fit the ABS trim piece against the steering wheel to confirm alignment and orientation before committing to adhesion.
- Peel back the adhesive backing film gradually as you position and press the trim firmly onto the steering wheel surface. Work from one end to the other to avoid air bubbles.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire trim piece for 30–60 seconds to fully activate the adhesive bond.
- Allow a minimum of 2 hours before driving to let the adhesive cure fully, particularly in cooler ambient temperatures.

This trim is designed for the steering wheel surround only — keep clear of all airbag cover seams, controls, and horn pad areas.
