- Ensure the vehicle is parked, engine off, and gear selector is in Park (P) or Neutral.
- Use the included cleaning wipe to thoroughly clean the surface of the gear knob, removing any dust, oils, or residue. Allow to dry completely — approximately 60 seconds.
- Carefully peel the adhesive backing from the rhinestone overlay, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
- Align the overlay centrally over the gear knob, using the edges as a guide before pressing down. Take your time — positioning before contact is key.
- Press firmly across the entire surface for 20–30 seconds to activate the adhesive bond. Work from the centre outward to avoid air pockets.
- Allow 30 minutes of cure time before regular use to ensure full adhesion strength.
⚠ Note: Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or above 40°C as this may affect adhesive performance. Avoid cleaning with harsh solvents or abrasive cloths around the overlay once fitted, as this may loosen the adhesive bond over time. If removing the overlay, use a plastic pry tool and gentle heat from a hair dryer to soften the adhesive — never force it.
