Installation Notes

- Open the boot and locate the interior trim panel behind each tail light cluster — carefully remove it using a trim pry tool to avoid damaging the lining.
- Disconnect the factory wiring connector from the existing tail light assembly by pressing the release tab and pulling the plug clear.
- Remove the retaining nuts (typically T20 Torx) securing the light unit to the body — there are usually three or four per side.
- Carefully withdraw the original light assembly from the rear of the vehicle, taking care not to scratch the surrounding bodywork.
- Align the new LED tail light unit with the mounting studs, ensuring the weatherstrip seal sits flush against the body panel before tightening.
- Reconnect the wiring loom connector until it clicks firmly into place, then refit the interior trim panel.
- Before closing the boot, test all functions — brake, tail, indicator, and reverse — to confirm full operation on both sides.
⚠ Important: If your vehicle displays a bulb failure warning after installation, this may be due to the lower current draw of LED units versus the original halogen lamps. A load resistor or LED-compatible flasher relay may be required to resolve this. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with automotive electrical systems.
