- Begin with a clean, dry dashboard surface. Use an isopropyl alcohol wipe to thoroughly degrease the area where the trim will be applied — this is the single most important step for long-term adhesion.
- Dry-fit each piece without removing the adhesive backing first. Confirm alignment and positioning against the dashboard frame before committing to the install.
- Carefully peel back a small section of the adhesive liner on the first trim piece. Align the piece precisely to the dashboard frame edge, then press firmly from one end to the other to avoid air bubbles.
- Once seated, apply firm and even pressure across the full surface of each piece for 30–60 seconds. Pay particular attention to the edges and corners.
- Repeat the same process for the second trim piece, ensuring symmetry with the first.
- Allow 24 hours before exposing the trim to significant heat or direct sunlight, giving the adhesive time to fully cure to the OEM surface.
⚠ Note: Do not apply to surfaces that are wet, dusty, or freshly cleaned with silicone-based products — these will significantly reduce adhesion. In colder climates, warm the dashboard slightly with a hairdryer before installation to improve adhesive performance.
