- Thoroughly clean the existing AC vent surround with an isopropyl alcohol wipe to remove any dust, grease or residue. Allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding.
- Dry-fit the trim piece against the vent surround to confirm alignment and positioning before committing to the adhesive bond.
- Peel back the adhesive liner from the reverse of the trim piece, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
- Carefully align the trim to the vent surround from one edge and press firmly across the entire surface, working from centre outward to eliminate air pockets.
- Apply sustained, even pressure for 30–60 seconds to ensure full adhesive contact. Allow the bond to cure for at least one hour before subjecting the trim to heat from the AC system.
⚠ Note: Apply in a warm environment (above 15°C) for optimal adhesive performance. Avoid installation in direct sunlight or on a very hot dashboard — allow the cabin to cool to a comfortable temperature first. If you need to remove the trim at any point, apply gentle heat from a hairdryer to soften the adhesive without marking the OEM surface.
