- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface with the ignition off and the rear lights cool to the touch.
- Thoroughly clean the surface of each tail light housing using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or similar degreaser — remove all dust, wax, and residue. Allow to dry completely.
- Test-fit each trim cover against the tail light to confirm alignment before removing the adhesive backing.
- Peel the adhesive backing from the cover and carefully position it against the housing, pressing firmly from the centre outward to eliminate any air gaps.
- Apply sustained pressure for 30–60 seconds across the full surface of the cover to ensure maximum adhesive bond.
- Allow 24 hours before washing the vehicle or exposing the trim to heavy rain for optimal adhesive cure.
⚠ Note: Do not attempt installation in cold or wet conditions — adhesive performance is significantly reduced below 10°C or on damp surfaces. If the vehicle has been recently waxed or polished, ensure the light housing surface is stripped back to bare plastic before fitting.
