Installation & Fitment Notes

Suspension work requires a secure lift, correct tool technique, and attention to torque specs. If you're not experienced with suspension assembly, we recommend a qualified Land Rover technician.
Time Required: 1.5–2 hours (both sides)

Secure lift: Raise vehicle on a lift or secure axle stands. Do not work under a vehicle supported only by a jack.

Remove wheel: Remove the wheel to access the control arm mounting point.

Support lower control arm: Use a jack to support the lower control arm and relieve suspension load.

Unbolt old bushing: Remove the bolt securing the worn bushing to the chassis or control arm, depending on configuration.

Extract bushing: Carefully press or pry the old bushing from its housing. If seized, apply penetrating oil and allow 15 minutes to soak.

Install new bushing: Align the new bushing and press into place using a press or suitable drift. The new bushing should sit flush with the housing.

Torque to spec: Refit the mounting bolt and torque to Land Rover specification (typically 65–75 Nm for control arm mounting bolts). Check your handbook or contact us for your exact model spec.

Repeat opposite side: Repeat steps 2–7 on the opposite control arm.

Lower vehicle: Lower the vehicle carefully and check that steering feel is responsive and smooth.
