Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 1–1.5 Hours
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and allow the vehicle to sit for 15 minutes to depressurize the air suspension system.
- Locate the air compressor reservoir beneath the driver's side chassis, behind the front wheel arch.
- Carefully disconnect the electrical connectors from the old valve block (note their positions).
- Unbolt the transfer relief valve block from the reservoir using a socket set (typically two M10 bolts).
- Remove the old valve block and inspect the sealing surface on the reservoir for debris or damage.
- Clean the sealing surface with a dry cloth; do not use solvents.
- Install the new transfer relief valve block and torque bolts to 25–30 N·m (18–22 ft-lb).
- Reconnect the electrical connectors to the new valve block in the correct sequence.
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Start the engine and allow the compressor to run for 30 seconds; check for any leaks or warning lights.
⚠ Important: The air suspension system is pressurized. Always disconnect the battery and wait 15 minutes before beginning work. If you're uncomfortable working with air suspension systems, have a qualified technician perform the installation. Improper installation may result in suspension failure or personal injury.
