- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the engine off and fully cooled. Open the bonnet for improved access to the upper grille mounting points.
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully prise the existing grille away from the bumper surround, starting from the outer edges and working inward to disengage the retaining clips without cracking the bumper fascia.
- Locate and remove any Torx screws (typically T20) securing the grille to the upper bumper bracket. Keep all hardware — some clips and screws may be reused during installation of the new unit.
- Fully remove the original grille and set aside. Clean the mounting recess with a dry cloth to remove any accumulated road grime before fitting the replacement.
- Align the new High Gloss Black Grille with the factory aperture, ensuring all clip housings are correctly positioned against their corresponding receptacles in the bumper surround.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the grille face to engage all retaining clips simultaneously. Refit any Torx screws removed in step 3 and torque to hand-tight.
- Inspect the grille perimeter to confirm uniform gaps and a flush fit against the bumper. Close the bonnet and step back to confirm alignment from distance before driving.
⚠ Important: Always use plastic trim removal tools — metal tools risk permanent scratching of the bumper paint and grille finish.
