- Ensure the vehicle ignition is off before beginning. Access the rear centre console trim panel housing the existing climate control unit.
- Using a trim removal tool or your fingers, carefully unclip the existing rear AC panel from the centre console surround. Apply even, gentle pressure to avoid marking adjacent trim surfaces.
- Disconnect the OEM wiring connector from the back of the existing unit by pressing the release tab and pulling firmly but carefully.
- Connect the new upgrade panel to the same OEM connector. You will hear or feel a positive click when fully seated.
- Align the new panel with the console aperture and press firmly into place until all retaining clips engage.
- Turn on the ignition and test all rear climate control functions — temperature, fan speed and direction — to confirm full operation.
